Take out the 4 aces and put them in your pocket.
Suggest playing a "gentleman's" game with your victim. Cutting the cards, high card wins. Your buddy goes first. Whatever he draws to, you draw and quickly slap the cards down and say "Well, sir, I got the King of Spades... I win!" When they protest say- "You don't believe me? Sir, this is a gentleman's game!" and give 'em that special smile... Suggest playing again, offering to go first. Again, after slapping the cards down, say "I got the King of Diamonds!" At this point, they'll probably follow suit and say an "Ace" Then, you pull the aces out and say, "Sir, far be it from me to call you a Liar, in a "gentleman's" game, but..." Done right, this bit KILLS! (don't know who to credit for this one, but I learned it from Eugene Burger)

I learned it from Gazzo. No clue who originated it.
No trees were killed in the making of this message, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

It takes a fair bit of guts to try because it doesn't always work.

Love it!
I wonder how many times it would fail? |
