Let's imagine that you've found an idea wrapped in an old TV show. Is it OK to duplicate something similar in a LIVE show, even though it is EXTREMELY Scary or upsetting?

I do things like that a lot as a "homage" and "tribute"... especially Twilight Zone themed effects... from erasing reality, monsters no one else but one spec can see... stopping time... etc.
Pastiche, tribute and homage.... that is the key.... and it never hurts to ask the rights holder when in doubt if you are doing a full-fledged money making show... (I'm going TZ with you as I know youy were reading Rod Serling - I've done a few things as mentioned above as well as some tribute effects ala the NIGHT GALLERY (check my avatar ) P.S. Clean out yer Mailbox already
