Does anyone own this effect from Jay Sankey. It looks like a good peice of mentalism.Does anyone recommend this effect.I was thinking about getting this and "In a Flash".Any reviews on PI would be great.
Thanks, Zack Oh,can it use the 2x3" flash paper? |

Predictioin impossible doesn't seem so amazing, I can do it about four different ways without using gimmicks. The instructoins say no force, so what? laymen don't even know that there is such thing as a force. I know a way to do a prediction and they get a no-force choice of twenty cards and the prediction is held by them the whole time.

There's a cool magician named Oz who has an online video of this trick at http://www.watchmagic.com. I got the effect after seeing this demo video. It's a pretty nice effect -- not too difficult and basically self-working. All you really need to know is how to do a Flustration Count (and that only takes 5 minutes to learn!).

Anything Jay Sankey comes up with is great. This is another one. It looks great on the video by OZ.
Ivan PS: It is also found in one of his videos, but forgot which one. I think it is one of the Sankeytized.

It can also be found in Corinda's "13 Steps to Mentalism", published before Jay was born.
However, he does have some very nice handling points for it, which I think improve the presentation of the original and make it a more hands off effect for the performer. It looks very clean, but is not suitable for close up walk around conditions. If you had my "ESPecially Wild" routine you could use some of the cards from that for Jay's routine (providing you know Jay's routine of course, or the one in Corinda.) Paul. |

The Flustration count is one of the weakest in my opinion. I'm always amazed when people are fooled with this count.
