Let me state for the record that I don't often review products but this purchase was so tremendous that I felt compelled to share my joy. The workmanship of the 'Killer Chop Cup' is top-notch and Frank's service was the BEST I've ever received from a magic dealer! And I'm not exaggerating about the service...
I called Frank on a Friday afternoon just before he was planning to go away for the weekend and he went out of his way to run it over to the post office before leaving so that I could receive it by Monday (shipped by Priority Mail). He also included an extra ball at N/C because I couldn't decide if I wanted two shimmed balls or one without. What a nice surprise! The Cup works wonderful but I was concerned about restaurant tables. So guess what...Frank offered to take it back at his own expense and build a custom-made cup from the ground up. Honestly, his service was so impressive that I told him no and that I'd keep both. (Note: I may decide to sell the first cup eventually because the cup will never wear out- it's that well-made!). The second cup arrived in just 2-days transit time and handles even BETTER than the first cup. The Killer Chop Cup is a great choice for many different venues because: * The cup is lightweight and easy-to-carry around * It doesn't look at all like a magic prop (think of a board game cup) * It's perfectly sized to produce a lime as the final load * The workmanship is top-notch and should last a lifetime * The cup will not dent because it's made from fine leather Listed below is a link to the Killer Chop Cup. Take my word for it you will be really satisfied! -Jared http://theambitiouscard.com/aitem.cfm?itemid=32 |

I have had the original cup for several year and have used it hundreds of times, if you perform the chop cup, you really have to seriously look at this cup. The metal cups are nice and all, but it's foreign, this looks like a Yahtzee cup.
Maybe I can trade my old one in?????? |

These cups are great. Very casual looking, wonderfully constructed, and you can show the ball rolling in and out of the cup at any time during the routine. (on one side)
A quick move of the wrist will also dislodge the ball too. So not only is this cup much more inconspicuous, but is has those added features that make this a great cup. Plus it comes with two magnetic balls which I prefer. I believe the new Killer cup can be used for dice stacking. I know nothing about dice stacking, so I can't comment on this. The cup has also helped me iron out some personal problems I've been wrestling with, and just last week, it told me to buy some Microsoft stock to cash in on the pre earnings run up. Can your chop cup do that? Thank you Leather Chop cup. (Warning, attempted humor) Frank was nice enough to adjust the strength of the hold for me, so when you order one (and you will), be sure to specify the level of strength while you order. |

I agree with what you said about Frank's customer service as I experienced the same. I debated between the killer chop and the Ren Faire cup and decided on the latter. I couldn't be happier and it is a very innocent looking chop cup.

After much soul searching about a signature, I decided not to have one.

Harden the lip of the cup (contact me for how to do so. it's easy.) Dice stacking is a lot like a chop cup routine, easy to learn, and can be a great change of pace.Dice stacking can add.. color changes, vanishes, productions, final loads (read paul gertner's book for many ideas), predictions, noise, attract a crowd, etc. One example that I like is to stack 3 red dice, vanish a 4th green die with a wand, and it appears stacked with the other red dice. If you have Daryl's Fooler Dooler's DVDs he uses a cup in a dice matrix type routine. Very nice.
