Surely it's not the psychics job to prove they ARE contacting the dead. More the specs job to prove their not. Just like its not my job to prove God exists. You should have to prove he/she doesn't.

Quite right.
As a result of this new legal wrinkle, I wouldn't be surprised if UK psychics simply dropped the word, 'psychic,' and started calling themselves something like "Independent Life Advisors." If their clients still call them psychic, they can simply shrug when the authorities ask them about it.
