In 1998, Janice Durand produced a movie called, The Gee Whiz Kid. It is a documentary about Jack Nyberg--the pitchman in Don Driver's Jam Auction DVD. The original movie was on VHS. After seeing Don's Jam Auction DVD, I called Janice to see if I could get a copy. As luck would have it, she had just had the movie transfered to DVD.

I just got it and watched it. It was wonderful. I really enjoyed it. This is not a replacement for Don's DVD IN THE LEAST. Don's includes all of Jack's pitch. Janice's movie is a documentary about Jack himself. It does include snippets of his performance. I really enjoyed it, as it was a fascinating look at a man who is the last of his kind. If you enjoyed Don's DVD, you may very well like this one. There are one or two "real work" tips (which are gems) in Janice's movie that aren't in Don's Jam Auction DVD. Jack doesn't use them anymore because they are a little on the shady side, which is why you won't find them on Don's DVD.
