Does anyone know where I can purchase online a couple of decks of Bicycle-backed blank cards? Does anyone make such a thing?
Any information is appreciated. Thank you!! Frank

Just about any good on-line magic shop will carry these. They usually run $5 to $8.
Cards by Martin also has these in stock. http://www.cardsbymartin.com/ Hope this helps.

although some may not advertise them on their websites - most shops carry them as well as other gaffed (full decks) and gaffed assorted decks.

as a well timed side-note, I actually went by my local magic shop on monday this week, and they did not have a deck of blank faced cards.
They had double back, and the rest, even blank backed, but no blank faced. So i'd call ahead if you do goto a local shop, because also they said they would order them, but then you may as well order online... |

David Acer once pondered why they always cost more than printed decks, considering that they use less ink!
What effects do people have in mind with the blank deck? I use the come together concept and show the whole deck bank at the end, I think it's called "kicker". |

Phonics asks a question I have long wondered over...why can I buy a pack of bikes for 2.99 or less, but a blank-faced (or even double-blanked) deck costs $5 - $10? Does anyone here know the reason for this? I'd be very curious...
I suppose the best answer I can coem up with is simple supply v. demand. Thousands of people purchase regular bikes everyday...but only a small, select group of people purchase such gaffed decks...and we do so quite irregularly (I know my blank faced/blank backed decks last MONTHS because of how rarely I use a card from it...let alone the whole deck). Anyway...there's my two sense....::grin::
Your EFFECT is only as good as its AFFECT.

The reason that a specially printed deck such as a double blank or double back, etc. is so much more than a standard deck is that they are made in much smaller quantities for a very, very, VERY small market.
Consider that they might make a small run of a million decks of regular Bicycle decks. But, only ten thousand double facers or whatever. It is all numbers. Best, Brad Burt
