As some of you might know ive said before that I learn better by watching than reading (especially if its in another language than my own ) so I wonder if anyone knows if there's any good mentalism DVDs on its way. It seems like theres a lot of books and ebooks coming all the time but not many dvds. Have there been any good mentalism DVDs since Educating Archer and No camera Tricks? Well if anyone knows of any great mentalism DVDs for the last 2 years I might have missed or if anyone knows of any great ones coming up, please feel free to post it here.

Thanks in advance

The Unexpected by Marc Spelman and Peter Nardi was very good, simple and easy to do with good impact and mostly just using your business cards.

I’ve seen the Chris Taylor and Marc Spelmann videos, and they are REALLY good. Richard Osterlind’s stuff is always excellent.

Stuart Cumberland and Allen Zingg have excellent (relatively) new billet DVD’s.

John Rigg’s Feet of Clay set is rumored to be incredible, although I have not pick it up yet…soon.

A rare Al Mann lecture was just released on DVD at Lybrary.com. It’s also on my “To Buy List”

Everyone except Hilford. So there aren't any great mentalism DVDs on its way?

Rick Maue has a set of DVD's filmed by L&L quite awhile back. He has no idea when they will be released, and while he is proud of the material, he is not proud of the DVD's. If I remember correctly, they were filmed at the same time as Joshua Jay's "Talk About Tricks" and the setup was just all wrong.

I believe I remember him saying that he hopes they are never released.

That's the only thing I know of.

Doesn't Docc have a set waiting to come out?

There is a surprise product to hit the market this month (unless things got pushed)

Isn’t there a Chair DVD due to be released from Paolo Cavalli?

Don't several other "top" names in mentalism have projects on the board, or in the works?

There is a lot going on. The community has recognized a "want" for mentalism material, so much more will be coming.

Rick mentioned a forthcoming DVD release in one of his recent manuscripts- I think it was IMAGINE..

I fancy a good surprise.

That chair DVD has been due for well over a year, I believe. Not complaining, just saying.

Check out the DVD Simply Psychic by Ross Johnson

It was reviewed in MUM as one of the best value for your money mentalism DVDs.

We have been selling these like wildfire when compared to the other mentalism items we offer.

Another mentalist that has some great material is Paul Hallas. He puts out a DVD called Mind Stuff.

I'll back Music on "Unexpected" by Nardi and Spellman. One of the most underrated DVD collections, IMHO. Particularly for those rather new to the field. Almost every effect on the set uses "organic" packs-flat objects that fit in your wallet.

Highly recommended.

"Draw me a tree" is an obscure way of giving a reading.I also agree with Gabelson Unexpected has some great routines "an act in your Wallet"

No, not obscure.
Timothy Hyde published his version in his Secret Notebooks of Mr. Hyde, http://www.achieving.com.au/NB1.htm
and several other have published variation on this since then.

There are also seversal video courses teaching this as well.

There is nothing new or original with Draw Me A Tree.
Some of use have used this for decades.

The unexpected is a good DVD. The No chance set doesn't get mentioned very often however.

My DVD will be out for Mindvention this year. I am looking forward to it

I have to retract some of what I've said here.

I was WRONG!

Draw Me A Tree is a fantastic DVD for giving one-on-one light and short personality readings of a pop psychology type framework. No, it is not new, but the way it is presented is fresh and interesting.

As a reader and one who presents readings daily, I enjoyed Rudy Hunter's work, organization of the material, and example readings.

It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
