For all you Ant haters out there, I just read about this clip on the Vh-1 message boards:

Actually it was kind of brilliant...if only ALL reality show contestants would have diarrhea of the mouth, we wouldn't have to watch any of this "dreck" they call entertainment...if they air it they will have to bleep him and blur his face...brilliant...

Ouch! I had to wash my ears out after watching/listening to that. What a jerk, I really don't care for that guy. I think they could have found a better comedian (Carrot Top?!).

Ever since "Last Comic Standing" first foisted Ant on us he has been the kiss of death (at least as far as my watching) for anything he has been on. He's an obnoxious twit who makes me want to take a Sledge-O-Matic to my TV. And that's speaking kindly of him.

I think it's when they stop talking that we should be concerned?
It's like, who cares what they say? as long as they keep talking, that's all that matters. Ant is obnixious, sure, but he is also seasoned and knows exactly what to do to get face time. So with that in mind, I wonder what's real and what is an illusion? It's still early and I'm still predicting CULT hit! |

The part where Jeff McBride is telling the celebrity how to control their feelings of being nervous is absolutely brutal!
Jeff McBride: "You see, it's okay to have butterflies in your stomach, if you can teach those butterflies to fly in formation" Ant: "Did you just say that out loud" the look on Jeff's face was priceless! And he was getting reamed earlier on in the show for his wardrobe choices. Poor McBride, there will be no love from Jeff as far as Ant is concerned, that's for sure! Ant might be obnoxious, but in regards to reality TV shows, that's exactly what the public wants to see (Omarosa anyone?) |
