About ten years ago, in Ireland, I picked up a set of "Tony Curtis presents: Casino Coins Chinese version". I was wondering if these were original Eddie Gibson make, or knock-offs. Also, does anyone have a decent routine with them that they might like to share. The instructions were rather sparse.

A pretty good routine by Howie Baltus can be found here with suggestions where you can go into a copper/silver routine at the conclusion of this effect.
http://www.thetrickery.com/?nd=showvideo&key=5264 I have never heard of or seen a Tony Curtis version. Are there pictures on the web anywhere? |

IMO this is a very nice set of chips/coins for the money with some of the worst instructions that I have ever seen for a trick in this price range. And they were written in English by an Englishman!

I have Casino Coins. The routine it came with is adequate. I bought mine used so I don't know if it is Eddie Gibson's set. Is the Chinese version just Chinese coin instead of color chip?
I was wondering, is the Johnson set, Interlude II, the same principle?

In the second he(she) ends up with two two JFK halves. if you go to the Eddie Gibson web site http://www.eddiegibsonmagic.net/ It talks about finishing with a copper coin and a half dollar, implying that the extra coin is a copper one. I can't understand why this would be better than ending with two halves. I can see no resemblance of this effect to Johnson's interlude II. THey both convert a colored chip to a JFK, but the method is quite different. Also Interlude II goes through several changes whereas Casino Coins has only one. |

Bad news. After less than two months of careful use one of the shims in my Casino Coins came unglued. This could be a real mess since I have had very bad results in gluing metal to metal to metal in the past.
Also Eddie Gibson's customer service does not have much of a reputation. The only contact that I can find on his web site is a snail mail address. This is not an expeditious means for solving a problem with a product. |

Tony try using jb weld. it comes in a tube.
and you can purchase it at wal-mart or any car part store.it has served me well in the past for glueing metal to metal. |
