I wasn't sure where to post this so I took a guess. I love the art of the old magician's tables and set pieces. To me the look of the furnishings help to establish the mood of a magic show. Nowadays you pretty much get a square box covered in velcro-friendly gray fabric that does nothing to evoke a sense of the exotic or mystery of magic. Are there any books that focus on the detail of magician's tables or set pieces from the good ol' days?
