After an interesting wrangle with the stupid post office (Hour and half driving around!).............

My "Comical Duck" from Wanlu ARRIVED!!

True to his word, Wanlu and his partners have DELIVERED! This puppet is AWESOME....Look just exactly like the photos Wanlu provided, only flat pictures can't do justice to this guy...

He SCREAMS funny without saying a word....And VERY well made! I've owned several MAT's, a Selberg, and all kinds of Axtells....

The quality of the craftsmanship is right up there with these makers....Very lightweight, tons of movement in the neck/mouth, and the perfect size for this type of character!

And the puppet has only been outta the box for like a half-hour or so....

THANK YOU Wanlu! This guy is about to be a STAR!

Wanlu is also a great guy to do business with...Very attentive to emails, details, and customer concerns....

If this sounds like a commercial, I'm sorry....Can't help it, I'm a very satisfied customer right now.

HAVE FUN!!!

Oh, we WILL be having fun!!

I've already settled on his voice (which is VERY different from what I had envisioned for him)....

I 'do' over 60 voices, so it was a 'crap shoot' from the get go....

So, there I was, just playing with P.King...Talking smack, working on lines, and suddenly:

I'll give you this one for free, use it at will, ok?

I turned P.King upside down, hand still in mouth, and say, "Look, an impression of me in a China Town deli!!"

This character opens up THOUSANDS of possiblities!
