I was watching Deadliest Catch and saw this, and found the clip on youtube, ouch is all I have to say... The guy slammed the tip of his finger a couple times and this is the "cure" the captain had. You can pretty much skip to the half way point if you're that impatient. Gah... makes me cringe... I'd guess say it's graphic and watch at your own risk heh. I've seen more horrible injuries online... but this phases me more so lol.

That's really not that uncommon. I have used a heated paperclip to do the same thing. One day at work we did the same thing to a guy but we used a tiny drill bit.
It dosen't hurt at all, it actually feels great once the pressure is relieved.
