Hey guys,
I had the pleasure of seeing Lonnie Chevrie's The Journey while spending a week with Kozmo in NY a few weeks ago. This routine is a KILLER coins across that is completely motivated, natural and most of all magical. The transit of the last coin is super-terrific. I'd highly suggest picking this up as soon as it's released!!! http://kozmomagic.com/

Eric, do you know if this dvd will only have the one routine on it? I have one of his dvd's and it has several very commercial and solid magic effects.

Lonnie only puts out solid, real-world magic. I saw him lecture not too long ago, unfortunately, he didn't do this coins across that night. I'm looking forward to seeing it!
Hey Vinny - who you are referring to when you say Paul?

Tedski,
It will actually have TWO effects on it. The first is The Journey, which is a killer coins across, and the second is Funneled. Funneled is Chevrie's Coin in bottle effect. I haven't actually seen this one performed, only described to me by Kozmo. But if it's of the same calibre as the rest of his material, I know that it will be real world tested and phenomenal!!!! Danny, Vinny is talking about Paul Green's Card Warp Finale which is also featured on Komomagic.com 's homepage. There's a separate thread here on the Café about Green's Finale, but I've got to say that like Chevrie, I'm positive that the Green Routine will be kick ***!!!!!

Does "The Journey" require anything in the way of gimmicked coins, or is it sleight of hand only?

One little gimmick that I'm sure you already have, or can easily obtain for a nominal fee.....

Wow. I'm surprised that Koz got this out so quick. He is amazing. Working with Kozmo and his production crew was truly a joy. They are all professionals and very knowledgeable.
Journey is my coins across routine that I use all of the time in my restaurant and roving gigs. Very easy to do and has real impact with my audiences. The bonus effect is Funneled, this is a routine that I have performed since the early 80's. It is one of my favorites and I included it in my show at the Magic Castle. It uses the same gimmick as Journey, along with a small funnel that you can pick up at any kitchen store. Funneled is a kind of coins across routine, but the coins seem to fall through the small funnel into your hand. Both of these routines are solid performable routines that I use all of the time. If you look at the back of the cover you will see a quote from Pressley Guitar. Pressley is a good friend of mine and Journey is the trick that he always asks me to perform for his friends when we get together. If any of you know who Pressley Guitar is, you will know that this is quite a compliment... Please enjoy these routines, and if anyone has a question regarding Journey or Funneled, feel free to contact me. Lonnie Chevrie |

Wow, got mine this morning! Much Thanks to Kozmo for getting this to me so fast. And also a big Thank You to Lonnie for releasing these effects. This dvd will be a great success because of how practical and real world workable these tricks are. The quality of the video is first class as would be expected by Kozmo and the gang. The explanations are clear and easy to understand and Mr. Chevrie does a wonderful job of paying close attention to every detail in the effects so everything is understood. As Mr.Jones stated earlier every move in The Journey is motivated and natural. And as for Funneled the 2nd trick in the DVD, lets just say Im on my way to go find a Copper funnel right now! Go get this right away http://kozmomagic.com
