It used to be great, but that was maybe 3-4 years ago. Now it's a pretty obvious and very old magishun's trick.

I think the point here is the possibility of annotating your videos, and linking to other videos. It will be interesting to see what kind of things are done with that.

. . . and "should of" should've read "should've" or "should have".

Thanks, Lior.

This is an interesting feature of YouTube.

Firstly, where's the info on the technical know how?

And, secondly, how do we make valuable use of this?

Marcus

P.S. Basic multiple outs would be a bit obvious methinks

Man, I've seen and heard people say this then promptly get completely floored by a clever use of the "very old magishun's trick".

Haven't you?

I thought it was a nice use of the missing card effect, which still gets emailed to people in various forms and still astounds them. Interactive video may have a lot of potential.

How to do this is covered in this YouTube blog entry. You can read in more detail about this in their video annotations help section. (The links are considered a particular type of "annotation".)

Apparently, the links don't have to go to another video on YouTube. They can go to ANY link. Promotional uses immediately become apparent.

One way they should definitely NOT be used: As a multiple out. All you would be doing here is giving a method away.

One thing that might be interesting with this technology? A video version of those "Choose Your Own Adventure" books that used to be so popular.

Its the Princess Card Trick. Seen by thousands, still works great. In fact, I had a woman talking about it where I work forever.

Nice variation he did with the cards face down and removing one.
