I guess there are three lessons here.

1. You can mess yourself up at any moment when doing anything dangerous.

2. Never put your audience in danger, its not worth it and its messed up.

3. Don't ever steal someone else's material because it will catch up with you eventually. Unfortunately in this case an innocent victim paid the consequences.

I kind of feel sick after watching that...

Reminds me of some fire performers who were doing a fire effect that involved putting a volunteer in danger...

Sadly, another example of what NOT to do.

Even if the trick did go the way it was supposed to go, the volunteer would have still been disturbed and upset.

It's proof that no matter how well you know what you're doing, something can go very wrong fast. I often think that it's more important to know how to handle problems, than to do a stunt.

Unfortunately, the tape doesn't give an idea of how any of them followed up.

for ths first one .....shake yor hand about a lot and take the spectator back stage to get teh blood off her. Get her a free HIV test (not that its likely but you know keep them on their toes!)

send her off with 2 minders and beat her in to not going to nattional press ..... ah didn't work well did it!
