YES...spend $37.50 and buy a deck from George Richbark in Illinois! The best, and NO sticky pad to replace.

I second that recommendation. I have used Richbarks for many years. Great product! They are also known as the Devano Rising Cards.

I like Martini's. Only $20. http://www.martinismagic.com/Products.html.

It does use adhesive rather than pins to grip the rising card. The advantage is that the adhesive is less damaging to the other cards.

AND...just to follow up, if you prefer the sticky pad method, NOBODY makes 'em better than Martini!

I'm all in on the Martini recommendation. Works like a charm too and you can't beat the price.

Martini without a doubt. I do believe he has a full guarantee on his cards also.

I just bought a Martini Rising Cards deck today. Marty is one heck of a nice guy and as taller8 says you can't beat the price. Doing research here at the Café lead me to purchasing these from Marty. Hopefully you will do the same.

Martini, sent along a fun little bonus effect when I bought mine. It's great to support nice people in the magic industry.

For Stevethomas.
Lucky you. I sent $50 to George Richbark.
Never received my order. No replies to my e-mail and get a recorded voice telling me the phone service was disconnected.
Very, very sad.

I prefer Henry Evans´ Rising Card. You start clean and end clean (yes, the gimmick is examinable) and you can the card raise en spectator´s hands. For me, this is the bes of all rising cards.

While the gimmick is good, it can't be examined.

I think McBrides Kundalini rising is a great card rise, you can do it with a borrowed deck.

Don Alan preferred the pins. So did Al Goshman. Why? Because if you use them correctly, they NEVER damage the other cards. The adhesive methods are inherently inferior. I used to make Devano style decks. I always wished that I had a way of making a pin setup, because I had a method for the rest of the gimmick that is superior to anything else on the market today.

And the ones I made came with a lifetime guarantee.

Steve,

Count me in on the Rickbark contact info. I too sent money, got my canceled check and NO product. George did respond to one of my emails saying he sent the item out. I have not see it yet and it has been over a month.

Thanks,

David
