Dear my fellow magicians,
I am just redesigning the packages of my cards and packet tricks and I want to place the names of the inventors onto the package. Who was the inventor of MACDONALD'S ACES? Who was the inventor of QUEENS OUT OF CONTROL? Who was the inventor of SIDEWALK SHUFFLE? So if you can help, which names to put on my packagings? If I posted in the wrong section, please move. Thank you.

Mac Aces...I believe is Johann N. Hofzinser probably popularized by the Garcia handling in Stars of Magic
Sidewalk Shuffle is Martin Lewis I had never heard of Queens out of control...it seems like Gerry Griffin is the one that does all the demo's might be him...It seems though this is a variation of the Wildcard plot which would be Peter Kane...hope this helps |

From Dai Vernon's "More Inner Card Secrets" (Lewis Ganson):
McDonald's $100 Routine ""Mac" McDonald, the American magician, who performs such fine close-up magic, has one of the greatest handicaps possible for a magician - he has only one arm. However, by determination and clever thinking he has devised some remarkable routines suitable for his own use. The following routine with the four Aces, which has become known as "The $100 Routine" (because that is the price known to have been paid for the secret), is a fine example of his work. Obviously, other magicians will not have to resort to the same moves as "Mac" McDonald, as with the use of both hands the tricks becomes delightfully simple to perform, especially now it has been given the Vernon treatment." Frank Garcia also published a version in Tannen's Stars of Magic series. __________________ I could be mistaken, but I think the basis for "Queens Out of Control" is Roy Walton's "Cascade" isn't it? Great to see some answers here! That's why I prefer the MCF above all other forums.
Although my intent is to know exactly WHICH name to put on. ... if it is possible to break it down to 1 name only.

Regarding "Sidewalk Shuffle," you may want to reference that Martin Lewis' creation is a gaffed version of Joe Riding's non-gaffed "The Only Four Card Trick with Three Cards" that was marketed by Ken Brooke. Brooke gave Lewis permission to market "Sidewalk Shuffle," and Brooke manufactured his own version of the gaffed cards as well.
