Hi Everyone,
I'm going to be heading down to Los Angeles for a weekend and I want to make the most of my time while I'm down there. Saturday and Sunday evening will be designated for the Magic Castle. But, during the days, I'd like to be able to check out the local magic shops and perhaps also one of the larger illusion houses. Could anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance for all your help. Kent

I don't think that John Gaughan is open to non-clients, but Owen Magic Supreme is. It's in Azusa, which is about 20-30 minutes from downtown LA. That said, it's a "by appointment only" kind of place, so you'll need to call first to schedule an apponitment: (626) 969-4519. Ask for Alan Zagorsky (he may likely be the person who answers the phone).

You'll also want to check out Dean Dill's Shoppe in Glendale. Here's a link: http://www.deandill.com/shoppe.htm
