I'm on the lookout for some brass coins that are the same diameter (30mm) as a US half dollar. Can anyone suggest such a coin and from which country?
I use US halves and East African 10 cents coppers (with holes in the middle). I'm now in search of a brass set to with these. |

The Chinese brass coins with a hole in the center made by Johnson's Products may be a good choice for you.
Its the same coin that comes with the C/S/B sets. |

The ones Sterling puts out is nice. or the ones from Japan are cool if you can find them.

I was trying to avoid the fake Chinese ones that come from magic dealers. I always feel they look cheap and tacky. I was after REAL brass money. I've looked at real Chinese coins and have a few of these, but I was after something that didn't have a hole.

Go for the big hairy dude coin, that sounds like a winner!
