Lately I've been thinking about verbally forcing an image, similar to DB's 3 of diamonds force but with pictures like a tree etc. and am having steady progress.
Does anyone have experience with this method/technique? I'm sure it must have been written about, but I can't say I've ever heard of it. Best, Tom. |

You could adapt Duplicity to do this.
You might say reality is the result of complex negotiations between the observer and the observed. But that is simply a point of view.

Ah yes, that looks interesting.

Image forcing is a very underexplored technique. I have looked into this a lot over recent years and have steady results. PS2 covers shapes with the assistance of gestures.

Um... the first half of Naked Mentalism focuses on this very stuff, with plenty of new force categories and techniques.

I've played around with this idea too.
Very much in the vain of Derren with the card forces, I took the most popular choices (which can be found in many books. PS1 for example... and Duplicity) and tried to come up with ways to force verbally and non-verbally these images. Use any Design Duep. method to test your theory.

Duplicity and Naked Mentalism are definite worth a look. Also I use and have great success with a routine in Kenton Knepper's The Secret and where a spectator correctly guages pictures in envelopes. Powerful stuff and with this very dependent on verbal trickery, although there is a way to make it more sure fire if you wish.
