Burt and Oliver, both rescued. Actually, Oliver found us and moved into the back porch until we let him in, little realizing that he would be going to the vet the next day. Burt is in the photo at left. Oliver has shown absolutely no interest in magic. They are about as different as night and day.
That's our departed buddy Burt, aka The Great Burtini, doing his famous Cups and Mice routine

3 fur dragons here. One is 19, solid black, and screams at invisible things. One is 15 and has a knack for walking into walls, and table legs. He looks like Sylvester. The other (the youngest) is built like Rambo, but is very laid back. He likes to lay at my feet. My wife says he's gay.

Sasha is old and lumpy.
Ollie is young and spazzy. Flower used to think everyone was an ax murderer, but now we have her fooled. They all taste like chicken.

I am the human to a feline named Mila. I tell everyone that she is not my cat, I am her human. She is a long-haired, gray, white, and brown colored cat with these green eyes, that when they look at you, they say "yeah, I'm queen of the castle...what are you going to do about it?" She took over my house about five years ago when she decided that she was going home with me from one of those adoption groups that set up at Petsmart on Saturdays. She stays outside most of the time, but that's her choice, not mine. If she has to stay in longer than she wants, she has one of those loud meows that is impossible to ignore. When she does stay in, she parks herself on my legs while I'm laying in bed, and she decides when I'm allowed to move.
The only stupid question is the one not asked.

Got a cat about two years back from an animal shelter. Already an full grown cat he was horrified at the sight of humans and hid under the bed for about a month. Now he sleeps on it and gets annoyed when we move. It took about 6 months for us to be able to pick him up and hold him for longer than 3 seconds now he watches TV on your lap. He actually gets unhappy when the TV is not on.
Loves to play and after spending many dollars on the newest cat toys thathe either didn't like or broke in a few days I have made him some old school toys from my younger years with cats. String on a stick, paper balls and hand under a blanket. |

I forgot to mention he is orange (in color) and is therefore called orange but if he complains I call him Yellow after the annoying sound he makes

My wife and I got a cat named Peppone (we call him Peppy) from the shelter about 7 months ago. We bought a bunch of toys and the toy he likes the most? My wife's hair ties! We shoot them across the room and he actually retrieves them and brings them back. He loves to be rubbed on the belly. However, around strangers, he's completely shy. The first day we had a guest in our home after we got Peppy, he tried to hid in the chimney! Needless to say bath time sucked!

I got one. He's called Toby and he's ace. He was rescued, too.
http://uk.geocities.com/majikgeorge/DSC00112.JPG Look at that he's balancing a saucepan on his head. He can now do woks and his working his way up to microwaves. |

Is that what those furry mousetraps running around here are called?

Yep, 2. Arby and K.K. Our Dog Max hates them both. When ever we pet one of the cats Max gives a look as if to say " Why are you petting them when you could be petting me " ?

Three: Orion, Carlton, and Mingus.
Orion's a Pixie Bob, five or six years old (I don't recall). Carlton and Mingus are two-year-old pound kittens: Carlton's a tuxedo and Mingus is a gray tabby. Carlton will fetch things. He mainly likes these plastic golf balls with feathers that my wife gets for him. He'll drop it at my feet, fetch it when I throw it (usually trying to catch it on the fly first) and continue this till he's exhausted. When he's not doing that he and Mingus are generally trying to murder each other. |
