Saw the film with two friends on Friday night, and we were all totally delighted.
I caught Wall*E sounding like R2-D2 at least once, and I'm sure the big robots yelling, "Halt!" sounded just like the droid in Star Wars Episode I when Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan were trying to get Queen Amidala off of Tatooine. Pixar has definitely topped itself again, and Andrew Stanton should be nominated for Best Director at the Academy Awards. Carrie |
