I have it. I have never used it, but at a glance it looks interesting. Basicly, you can have your prediction envelope in view for a week (or whatever) and at the time of your show you bring all the various newspapers. Generally if it is a big headline they will all be the same, but if not the audience can choose which one they want. The prediction and paper are given to an audience member to hold on or sit on throughout the show, and at the end is called up on stage to give it to you...Of corse you predicted correctly.
Briefly... The method is very simple (based off an old idea), and kinda makes you want to smack you on the head for not thinking of it. It is good though. Props You get a booklet explaining the method and how to make it. You would easily be able to make the secret gimmick. You will need to make a new one each show I think, but its very easy and quick (less then 5 min). Overall (i usually would do a more full review but this is just quick) I think for $30(?) Its pretty good. If you already do a headline prediction I really don't see a need for this one. It may not be as clean as other versions, but it will appear clean. There is one thing that may seem odd...maybe. I have never done this (and am just giving thoughts) but there could be 1 odd thing. Im sure itd fly by. Any questions about this id be happy to answer. |

The pdf for this is $10 and well worth it. It's easy to make and easy to use. It's actually something you could turn into a very big finish if you added some Confab forcing ideas. Imagine predicting which paper they would pick, the headlines from the paper, some stories on the front, objects that were forced earlier and you could force it on a spectator who ends up having some personal facts read in the prediction.

Also, Paul has another Prediction idea available. It is a "Master Prediction System" type idea using an appearing pole?!? I know, it sounds weird, but it's actually a really cool idea. It is actually available as a free download... which is even cooler!
I don't feel comfortable posting the link to the free download here on a public forum. If you want it, PM me and I'll shoot you the link. BTW, I'm not giving this .PDF for free or anything, so please no hate mail. It is something I found on a website, and it appears there for free with Paul's permission. So, if your looking for an interesting way to predict anything, this may be it! Merry Christmas everyone! |

I bought this and the principle is very straight forward. The set up takes around 15 minutes the first time around and then less than 5 minutes thereafter. My main issue is that it doesn't come with a DVD and therefore one of the key stages, althought clearly described feels like it has been left open to interpretation in the absence of a demonstration. For the money, this is a winner and although I haven't used it yet, I plan to do so at my next forthcoming gig. I'll let you know how I get on!
