Does anyone know where I can find a video of the Lance Burton sword fighting illusion? Or have a description of the entire plot? I have invented an illusion, but think it might be the same. I haven't seen this effect in years, and don't want to copy it.
Thanks,

I found a video of it. That is not what I was thinking. its a video of a girl with a cloth and she dissapears into thin air when he whisks the cloth away. that's the video I'm looking for,
Thanks,

I think they are all on his DVD. I believe it's called Secrets of Magic.

I'm so glad Lance has never dropped this. It's always been one of my favorites. After seeing it on video over and over I could not believe how good it looked live.

I learned a very important lesson in magic. As I started many magicians recommended Mark Wilson's complete course in magic. I bought it and did not like it at all. My reasoning is the tricks were corny, easy, and not what I have seen on TV. Oh but was I wrong. The basic principle or one of them for Lance's sword fight can be found in Mark Wilson's book. I then realized that it is not the tricks, or methods in these book you really learn, but the basic principles of magic and then apply your own routining, etc. And you can accomplish some of the most amazing stuff and make the impossible possible with the most basic principles.
Thanks,
