Well, I received mine... Can someone tell the practicality of this effect. You can only use a book once, so unless your show is in a B. Daltons or Borders, the stuff is useless. The additional effects are ver difficult to understand for me...it doesn't work with cash, too many variables and impossible to distinguish which bill has the work. The method is very curious; why would I fish through the pages of a book after a word is looked at? to see "how many pages there are"!!! That's supposed to be your excuse....

Well I'm glad I cancelled my order a few days ago.
I read a review of this on magictricks and one guy gave a pretty descent review. He said it sucks and it's price too high. |

You might want to check out what the guys on the mentalism forum are sayig about it. These guys use itas a mentalism effect not as a magic trick and most seem happy with it.

VernonOnCoins,
From your name I would suspect that you do a more traditional type of magic, rather than mentalism. So, I can understand that the Silver Bullet is not for you. But in your original post you call it "lame," "a big fat waste" and "useless." As a traditional magician doing cards and coins, etc., it probably wasn't the best decision to purchase it. It would be as useless to a coin guy as a set of scotch and soda is to a mentalist. But, I think you would agree that the mentalist who buys scotch and soda has no room to complain that this wonderful coin effect is "a waste and useless" in his mentalism show. Regards, Brady |

This gimmick is great.......It's all presentation......Just borrow a magzine or book..........Practice so you can "browse the pages" quickly.

Hey, if you don't like it, that's all good. Leave the good mentalism stuff for those of us who are mentalists, and we'll leave the good coin tricks for those of you who are magicians. Sound like a good deal?

..and we'll leave the bad coin tricks for you too!
Its probably a good thing that a whole bunch of magicians have picked up the silver bullet just because it happened to be in the more expensive price bracket range... hope it taught them a lesson Rich, Please attribute your marshmallow quote...and I believe it was a 10lb marshmallow. -- ws |

Winston's right, it's supposed to read, "Last night I dreamed I ate a ten-pound marshmallow, and when I woke up
the pillow was gone," and it should be credited to Tommy Cooper.
