Is anyone familiar with any coin box routines which only use one coin?

Thanks in advance.

Regards.

A lot of the older routines using the Okito box used only one coins. Mohommed Beys Okito Box Routine Booklet would be a great place to start. Denny's or H&R Books should have a few copies.

Actually, Bey's book is still pretty widely available, click HERE to view. I believe it was reprinted by D. Robbins & Co., which purchased the rights from Tannen's.

Although Bey's booklet represents the very best of Okito box moves available at the time (early 1960's), there were some very innovative Okito box moves and sleights in David Roth's "Expert Coin Magic" (1985), which has also just been reprinted, click HERE to view. SETH

I am not sure about the question, do you want routines that appear to have one coin or ONLY use one coin?

The Bey book is great but he just appears to use one coin.

Check out the Art of Close-up Magic (vol. 1) by Lewis Gsnson...Also Bennet's Best by Horace Bennet (published by Jerry Mentzer). Both these routines would make a great start!

Hope this helps

That's terrific. Great effect and wonderful presentation. Wow.

Yes, that's the type of effect I was asking about. Is it in print?

Thanks for sharing.

David,

Thank you kind sir! Unfortunately or fortunately it is not in print. The box I used is a marketed item often used as a gag. The presentation is indeed mine. The sleights used are very basic as you can see. I would gladly share the handling with you. Please check your PM box.
