Steven's was selling the Reverse Svengali Decks, or you can make two for the price of one (PM me and I'll tell you how I did it, if you're interested). I liked the idea that you can in-the-hands riffle shuffle face up, it looks very convincing!

This thread ages well --- I also didn't know about reverse Svengali until Magik Bslay demo'd a couple of great effects.

I now have 2 of these decks I use from time to time.

I purchased an effect by Wayne Dobson called, I believe, ”celebrity deck” many years ago and it used a reverse Svengali.
Great trick that elicits gasps from the spectators.

I first read about a 'Reverse Svengali' after buying 'McComb's Magic 25 Years Wiser' by Billy McComb many years ago. He describes its origin on page 79. I actually made a couple a few years back. I like it
