I read on The Astonishment Project forums something about Paul Harris working on a 9 DVD set with stuff from the AoA books and a lot of new stuff as well. The posts about it are about 6 months old and they stated that the product should be out this year. I thought I remember hearing that Wayne Houchin might be involved in this project as well. Anyway if there really is a 9 volume DVD set coming out by Paul Harris then put me down for one.

Does anyone know anything about this project?

Yes, I've heard the DVD set is going to finish when completed. I also heard when it ships that it will be done.

Should be all new Paul Harris material, with every trick on the DVD set being powerful enough to close your routine. It's been delayed for 3-4 years now.

Yeah, I think the original release estimate was fall of 2005. I'm willing to wait for what I believe will probably become an instant classic full of great material.

It's been confirmed that Wayne Houchin was involved with the set to some degree.

I heard that they are trying to release on X'mas 2008, but there is no real due date, they are still editing.

I wonder how much the complete 9 volume set will sell for. It has to be at least $200 if not $300 or more.

Paul Harris is / was an icon in my early career, I still have all of the original books prior to The Art of Astonishment Books.. The man is a genius and I know this release will be huge..

I have been craving this set for what feels like ages haha. He was/is my biggest influence. I just wish I knew for sure when it was due to come out so I can be absolutly certain to save enough money for it.

Doesn't the Magic Café have any forum members that know Paul Harris or W:H? Why can't one of you guys just give them a call or email or stop by their house and ask them? If I knew them I would do that much for you guys.

Filming and editing are happening on a daily basis. Wayne filmed 5 or 6 effects and some of that footage will be used on the DVD's. As far as release date goes.....their's that old zen saying, when the student is ready the master will appear

Thanks for the update Jason. I assume you will be posting any further updates on the Astonishment Project site as well. Oh and could you ask Paul if he could use someone exactly like myself, to volunteer his time holding lights, getting coffee, laughing at his jokes, etc. on the set?
