My right click does not work. I don't know what to do.
I have tried a new mouse, but that doesn't help. I am guessing it is vista causing the problems. Has anyone had this problem that could help?

Go to your Control Panel, click on the mouse icon, and look for button options.

Might be a javascript problem, or it might be associated with a "net-nanny"-type program (have you installed something to protect the kid shown in your avatar from internet nasties?)
See HERE and see HERE (lots of suggestions in that thread) or see what you get when you google ... mouse "right click" disabled ... (I got plenty) |

Oh dear! I was looking at the wrong guy in the avatar!
Okay, this is a trick question ... if you're under 18, you should be fully capable of hacking any computer problem. |

The basic tool for the manipulation of reality is the manipulation of words. If you can control the meaning of words, you can control the people who must use the words.

I called emachines as a last resort. I hate calling tech support.
They told me to do a full system restore. Back to factory settings. Still no right click. I plugged in a really really old mouse, it works. I am really angry.

So ... new mouse?
Stay away from fancy mice, you don't need 'em - $15 optical (wired) mouse, and go. |

Side note: Don't ever buy a mouse again, get a Logitech optical track ball, you'll never you will be glad you did. Best $25.00 I ever spent. I gave them a Christmas gifts last year.
