I would of liked to see a more fluid style and less "watch how fair I am". imo

Do you know the name of the book?
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

It wasn't FLAWLESS.
I think I am spoilt by other masters such as Forte etc. It would probably still ruin me in a game. |

The book is the Erdnase one.
I wonder why casinos allow such kind of "show" inside their premises. I mean, this is pure magician fantasy stuff but still it may insinuate in people minds (the average casino gambler) that a casino dealer could easily manipulate the cards and cheat the players. I guess the average casino gambler is already aware that the casino has a natural edge over him but if he now suspects that he can also be cheated, well, that's not good for the business... Or maybe they want to tell the players that in other private places they could be cheated but not in their own casino |

There's certainly a lot of guys who could do at least what was done on the video, and there's a lot more who are far better.
I'm not sure what the point is of posting this type of performance, other than boosting a persons ego. There was nothing on this video to warrant my taking a couple of minutes to watch it. |

Silverking you're quite harsh with this video...

Well considering the guy is using Bicycle cards, doing Ortiz's Faceup Centers routine, on a big table with "Masters of Magic" all over it to boot, it's obviously just a performance for a tv show, not unlike several that have aired in the States here. I thought it was fine for that context.

I was in the Philippines and I did a few demos for some pitbosses that were off work and they also thought I had special talents to beat the casino... This got me barred from playing but not attending the casinos(just in case you want to know, its Casino Filipino in Tagaytay Highlands)... I also know a mentalist that couldn't shuffle a deck if his life meant on it and he got barred because the managers thought he could see the value of the cards by looking at the back... As for the video being posted for ego, I think that any magician that has an opportunity to perform for a live audience in a casino would be proud to post it as well because this is a good way to get more work.. that's all. we're all here just to make a living off what we do... pals j

Maybe baro isn't so familiar with our language and mistook the gambling forum for the card workers forum.
