Does anyone know anything about the mentalist known as "Enigma?" I found the website of this white haired, goateed gentleman and would like to know more besides what he says about himself.

He sells magic tricks. I think it's legitimate for someone to ask about him before purchasing from him. Don't you?

He also operates http://www.learnmentalismnow.com which to me looks way to similar to other "Learn Magic Now" websites that have popped up lately. I was simply wondering if anyone here knows of him or the effects he's selling.

Most interesting to me is that he's selling "directions" for where to buy Andy Nyman's Killer Elite for $6!

I'll tell you where you can buy it for only $4.

lol.

See his rip off of KKKK? What a fool. He got her to pick the card first, project it onto a screen and then go's into the invisible deck routine, when she's already made her selection???

Makes no sense.

Then he gets it wrong near the end because she picked the AofS. So he get her to choose another card??? Which he then pulls out of his wallet.

I also love the mind reading business card where he has to put his glasses on to tear the card up. See that guilt at the end??? that's not magicians guilt, no siree...

What a moron.

I'd be pi$$ed if I was KK.

Surely this guy should be better if he's going to teach.

I bet the dog is a stooge he barks now and then in the videos to cue the guy, I bet Taylor will come with a electronic cueing dog that will bark, he will also team up with axtell to make the dog real so there is no suspicion... The remote is hidden in a beard or in your pockets.

I'm already filling in notes about it, great routines.

Max.

Okay the guy is no Kreskin. That being said, I bet you a dollar to a donut he is raking in the dough. He probably is a speaker and uses mentalism (lack of any other word) to sell his potion. Customers eat up the teddy bear image of a mind reader.

It would be nice to give him some pointers to avoid exposure. I find his performance lacking in entertainment value. There is no theatre in what he is doing, just going through the motions. I do like his blurb though, if he would only stick to what he says. He probably is a very good magician however.

He seemed kind of rude to the helpers, I would guess they are all friends. I think Linda was hitting on him. I said it and will lay out that prediction. He commented she is still talking about the booktest.

PS: I agree Silvertongue, putting on the glasses at the wrong time was beyond comical. I wonder what made him say "he needed the glasses to see the tearing."
He should have just stopped and said he isn't getting an image or something.

Anyone care to comment on the booktest he used?

You miss the point.

He's only interested in putting up a site that takes money.

Anyone on this forum could buy a few books or dvds then put the material up for sale like he has.

It looks as though he dosen't give a **** that the material doesn't belong to him.

I don't know why you are critisizing his performance. I don't think he cares.

The net has made this possible. Anyone on here could set up something similar and start selling effects that don't belong to them.

It would be easy.

My bad mindpunisher. Heck I didn't think about him being a conartist since so many reintroduce effects and sell them.

Okay, devil's advocate here. Has anyone purchased anything and for sure, know he is peddling other's wares?

If he has the right to sell Kollosal Killer then so do I. If he can sell Premonition then so can I? On and on.

If its ok for him to do what he's doing then I could get a party a few friends over and perform a dozen or so effects claim Ive slightly modified them and upload them to a site. Vola start taking money!

If you would buy them from me then I expect you will there is nothing wrong with what he is doing.

Bit that wasn't the point. The point is hes not too bothered about the performance. What he is bothered about is making some easy money. that's the purpose of the site.

Personally I think its wrong but there you go we are all different.
