During World War II these cards were produced that, when submerged in water, could be peeled apart and both halves had a map on the inside. When all the cards were put together it made a large map. These were supplied to POWs so if they escaped they would have a map.

I am looking for this deck for I collect decks. Does anyone know where I can purchase one? Please PM me if you know.
Thank you

I've seen a few on ebay. I'm sure you'll be able to find one there. Good luck!

That is a cool piece of military history that I didn't know. I'd also like a set of these for my militaria collection. I see that they are selling an uncut sheet (reproduction) on eBay, but I'd much prefer an authentic deck. If anyone knows where these are available, please send me a PM or e-mail.

They also used to send board games that had a full map glued between the layers of the game board.

And, of course, there were also flight jackets with a hidden lining that had a map printed on it.
