I remember running across a dealer item a while ago which sounded interesting, now of course I can't find it. it was an addition to the ambitious card routine, in which you could attach a sticker (and sign it?) to the back of the chosen card, and it would still rise to the top with the sticker intact. it would be very visual, assuming it can be done as described. any ideas as to who this effect is by and where to get it will be appreciated.

Many people have a version of this. My favorite is in Liam Montier's "The Wicked World Of Liam Montier" DVD called Stickman Sebastian where a sticker of a stickman jumps from card to card.

Thanks for all the responses. what really interests me are additions to the ambitious card routine that don't involve double lifts. so far this is what I have found:
there is a nice piece in Kaufman's '5 x 5 japan' that involves a paper clipped card. gaetan bloom's 'escalator' is a nice idea, but the handling looks too unnatural for my liking. ray kosby's 'raise rise', *** beautiful in his hands but I'm a few years off perfecting it. bill goldman's 'monkey in the middle' could be an addition to an ambitious card routine (for anyone who doesn't know the effect, a selected card melts through the deck and is found sandwiched between the two jokers on top of the deck - a very underrated effect imo) maybe someone could list any sources for methods I have missed. |

In Jay Sankey's "Revolutionary Card Magic" DVD there is an ending to the Ambitious Card plot, or really any signed card trick. The card ends up folded inside an envelope that was inside the card box the entire time. The box is in full view the whole time.
