I know that some people have allready suggested putting the little receiver on your wrist under a sweat band and that works well except a sweat band is quite thick and clumsy so I now just have the transmitter held ont my wrist under a wide rubber band, works a treat, holds it firm, invisible and easy to ditch when I am finished with it.

Still think my original idea of wearing it in your underpants is the best though!

Hmmmmm, I haven't had to deal with where to put it as I have it in my front trouser pocket. Both Proximity and MD doesn't require me to be near the person so in the trouser pocket the receiver goes Smile

So Kiss you must put your hands in your pocket then? otherwise you risk not feeling the signals properly.- if you put your hands in your pocket it may sometimes look suspicious. the rubber band method underneath your shirt sleeve is very natural, but the underwear solution is more fun, - goood vibrations!!

No, you just have you hand by your side. You can feel the it through your trouser on your wrist or whatever part of your arm/hand can come in contact with the receiver. For jeans, it goes in the coin pocket.

No matter what type of pants I'm wearing, I tuck it in my waist band, no problems whatsoever

That works well too but there's a special hidden feature to the receiver that causes it to do something which makes tucking it beneath my belt or in my waist band a not so wise choice (due to the pressure that gets placed on it if I was to move around with it tucked in my waistband or belt). Also turning it on or off now becomes an issue if I had it there.

With having the receiver in your trouser pocket you also have way more control when going sleeveless with Proximity. If your "sixth sense" is too strong you can easily hold a hand/arm/wrist in front of the area where the receiver is and cancel out the unwanted stray spidey sense if let's say the spec doesn't provide his/her own natural blocking sufficiently. You would also have to be trying pretty hard to miss a read from MD since it repeats so many times in the first place. With Proximity there's no real issue as you have all the time in the world to get your read.

I put mine in my sock. It can be turned on & off right through the sock.

Turning it off and on is a breeze. I just act like I'm tucking in my shirt a little bit. I've had zero issues with it being in my waistband, absolutely zero. But if someone has a belt made of lead, I can see where that could cause some issues!

There's a little special something about the receiver that you may not know about lunatik Smile I have two receivers, different designs. The first one is less prone to this while the other one is prone to it. I started off as a beta user for Proximity, I've placed the receiver through its paces for months of constant use and heavy testing. I've went through 3 sets of prototype Prox tags and on my fourth (final design) set of tags. Most convenient and best place to place the receiver is by far in the trouser pocket. We're talking about myself heavily using both receivers in a variety of areas (started off strapped to my arm, then I worked with it in the waistband or under a belt depending on my attire), front pants pocket or coin pocket of five pocket jeans are the ideal balance of functionality, flexibility, and accessibility. Having to tuck or untuck my shirt is not as fluid and natural as my hand resting naturally by my sides. Fact of the matter is, there's a extra feature that most probably does not know about the receiver which becomes an issue (or CAN become an issue) if placed beneath a belt or in the waist band due to the pressure.

You can rest your hand on your lap. Or, you can feel it through your pants. I say front trouser pocket.

What a great trick.

Ha ha, I'm going to PM your Robert about why I use it exclusively in my front trouser pocket. Smile But yes, you understand what I mean when I pointed out the advantages of having it there as well as it being a preventive measure for something Smile

There is one last idea for the proximity gizmo we are all talking about, I just swallowed it, so now I can do it naked, jump a few times to turn it on/off, the only problem is when it is time to change the battery, I have to........well if you ever had a dog swallow something then you know.

MD is a superb trick... I just won first place in my Local magic club competition. It just blew them all away. no one had a clue how it worked. I told them about my new study of "COLOUR REFLECTION" and how it can be seen in their eyes. If Magicians can be fooled with this stuff how does it look to laymen? JUST GREAT FUN!!!! thanks to Craig!!!! cheers Andy

Thanks for all the positive comments on the new Promystic website. http://www.promystic.com

I would like to thank a member of themaccafe, shield, for creating this wonderful website for Promystic. I work for a large company and we have an entire groups dedicated to creating marketing collateral of this nature. There are web people and there are graphics design people. I would say 1 or 2 out of 10 of the graphics design people have the natural talent / ability to create graphics and arrange them to “just look right”. I am not one of these people, but I assure you Shied is AND he does both the graphics and web design. I know he is a natural because he can create this stuff in hours, not days or weeks. The entire site was created in under two weeks. Unbelievable!! I am very happy with the new site and I hope you like it as well. BTW, Shield is also behind some of the most popular mentalism websites that we all know!!

Thanks Shield, you truly are an amazingly talented individual!!
You can find him at http://www.imentalism.com, I know he has some new products coming out as well. Can't wait.

If you have not seen it, check it out and let Shield know what you think.

Sincerely,
Craig
