Those are great pictures on Andy Martin's site. These are very classy props!
I got the deluxe set, but I've always gravitated to the ESP cube. I'm a little surprised to hear that it's the least popular. In my experience, lay audiences are very interested in ESP. Robert |

Yes Robert, I too was suprised to hear ESP cube was least popular, because its the one that I use ALL the time.
Easy to remember! Steve |

I believe most people think they have a bit of ESP and are therefore very interested in the ESP cube and the symbols. It may be old hat to magicians, but the Dr. JB Rhine experiments at Duke University make for a fascinating story for lay people. (I read somewhere that over 90,000 tests were conducted with volunteers in the 1930s.)
MultiDimensional is a killer effect with the color cube or die, but my preference is the ESP cube. And, as gaffed pointed out, no one is going to say, "Hey, is that a real ESP cube?" ;-) Robert |

Honestly, in my experience, the public are familiar with the term of ESP but you can use all three of the main cubes and wrap the ESP story around any of the three (not many in this day and age really know that the testing was done with the classic 5 Rhine symbols). If you think about it, using any of the MD die and explaining to your audience that it came with one of your ESP resources/guides is much easier for them to believe than to take out a quite odd looking wood die and explaining that it's a hand me down from good ole Grandpa Joe

I think that was just to show the relative size. Andy is a big magic collector with a great web site.

Aukt
it seems strange that you should ask me about shipping for this item on this thread,if your enquiry was genuine. - why did you not reply to the email address on the magicweek advertisment, or are you trying to make some point? I don't understand. Incidently, I am replacing my MD with a special custom made version that Craig is making for me. - its just too good to be without but I needed a particular feature on it that Craig has kindly obliged with. And MindBuster is also being replaced with something rather special that I cannot talk about yet! Steve |

Is Craig making this MindBuster replacement? If he is then I think he's at this point King of the Hill in this specific market

Kissadookie,
No sorry but you are wrong on that one,it is NOT Craig making the impression device - and I cannot at this time tell you who it will be, but the maker will be closer to were I live than that, no more clues. Steve |

I wanted to comment days ago, but have been busy and just now getting around to it..
I bought the kit and have used all three, but agree that the color cube is the most popular. It works best for my routine, storyline, etc. There have been some questions of suspicion to the ESP Cube. Likewise, the Die Cube not being a normal die. Yet, not one person has ever thought of the color cube being anything more than some toy. I've even had 3 or 4 situations where kids (and adults) have commented that they've seen the cube at a "dollar store". I usually tell them that's where I got mine ![]() Actually, I need to contact Craig as my business is sports memorabilia, and I'd love to get a cube made with "sports" on each side. Would be great when meeting athletes, customers, and attending trade shows. Just a thought. |

Ive got it, I was thinking of:
shuffle board dodge ball lawn darts tether ball synchronized swimming and tiddly winks synchronized swimming may be too hard to fit on one side of a 1" die, maybe pool ballet would work All kidding aside, I can make anything you want. I even made one with words that I definitely can not post here. I can even do glow in the dark! Just let me know, -Craig

I still fail to see why anyone would question the ESP cube! Some possibility as to the Die cube.....perhaps. I've not performed it in awhile as I've been quite busy but I always used the ESP cube and never had any suspicions with it. After all, just what is a ESP cube supposed to look like! Is someone going to say: "Hmmm...I've never seen a ESP cube that size before and being hollow"?
