I just wanted to make the community aware of all the wondeful work the magicians involved with Mingus Magic are doing. You may have already seen the post about Magic for Miracles, a wonderful cause to help Alex's Lemonade.
In addition to that event, the Magicians of Mingus Magic are doing a benefit at my Church, Bethany Lutheran Church, to benefit the local Habitat for Humanity in Berks County. All the magicians are donating their time and as both a magician friend of theirs and also in my capacity as pastor, I applaud and appreciate their efforts. Date: September 13th Time: 7:00 PM Tickets are $5.00 100% of the proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity Performers Include: Ray Broday & Dan Lafferty doing close-up Rev. Michael Reist (The Amazing Magi - myself) as Emcee Wayne Martin, Rich Gerber, Eddy Ray, George Patrick, Majik Andrew & Matt, Dwight Powell, Ryan Parsons, all involved in the Stage Show. If you are near Reading and would like to attend the show, you may contact me for tickets. Revmike@ptd.net. Thank you.
The magic is not in our sleights and illusions, but instead in our ability to bring love and joy.

I agree, good crowd, and good performers. espically since it was 100+ degrees on stage and not much cooler in the audience. Everyone made the best of it and I am sure we raised a good amount.
Thanks RevMike Good job |

Congrats you guys for a great show for a great benefit. I wish my wife and I could have been there but we were traveling on the road. Looks like it was a great success for sure.
