Not to mention the Dippy Duck from Hell, a device build to rip off kids' fingers under the fallacious pretext of "picking cards". Probably inspired by the Trojan Horse but far more evil.

Not too long ago there was an effect in one of the magazines where the spectator signed a letter which turned out to be a contract with the devil, anyone know which issue it was in?

Nevermind, found it! It was Max Maven's "Wagers of Sin" in Magic Magazine, March 08 (Talk About Tricks).

Back in the 70's, Larry Becker put out a card trick called "Haunted House." It used some alphabet cards and an envelope with a hole punched in one side. It had a great story line and two changes in the cards.
It wasn't horror or bizarre to say the least...but it was a lot of fun to perform. I still have one. EVILDAN.

the Card of Nosferatu Hey ZZ, nice performance. I've been thinking about getting some of those cards, and your video helped to convince me. Thanks for posting it. -Mark |

Hey Mark, thanks for the nice words about my Nosferatu trick.
That effect will definitely be great for that Spooky, Halloween experience. It will certainly bring out the vampire in you, Moohoohaha!!! Tony aka Zany Zack
As magicians we create what onlookers call magic. If they truly believe in what we have created for them to witness then magic is real!!!

Oh boy... I know people are going to be mad at me for plugging somthing I put out... but since you asked about Halloween magic...
You have to check out Urban Legend from magicandmindgames.com... it's *** creepy, and revolves around the urban legend of kids finding sharp things in their trick or treat bags. This one is deffinately for adults, and is a closer for sure. It's a nice change from the typical vampire, ghost, witch type halloween tricks, and hits a little closer to home. Mike |

I came up with an idea for Halloween using Extreme Burn.
I talk about how I found this money in a wallet that had belonged to a murder victim. I know I should have turned it in, but I didn't. The money is cursed, and every time I go to spend it...well, you know what happens. It is quite shocking for the spectators to see nice, crisp $1 bills turn into nice, bloody $1 bills. -Mark |
