Hi,
I really need help. I've watched tutorials for Arm Pull, and practiced, but I just can't do it. Other people just can do it so easily, but when I try it, it doesn't work! Audiences are just laughing at me What can I do? |

Drop down to "The Cellar" category and click on the "you are getting sleepy...very sleepy" forum and ask there. That is the hypnotism forum and you are going to get direction there a lot faster than in "New to Magic" They will tell you what books and videos you could use to learn this method from and get the advise you seek, but you are too new to the forums for anyone to reveal any types of "secrets" to you.

I saw a video of this....I think the liability can be great if the person you are doing it to has some neck problems....quite a bit dangerous IMO....I've read comments where people said its origins are in martial arts.

If it is the kyusho-jutsu technique, then it is an actual knock out and not a hypnotic induction. And Mr. Alex is right, unless very trained in doing it you don't want to go around on the street practicing that, severe nervous system damage can occur.

Like I said, it also looks like a lop sau from the wing tsun system. I wouldnt do these kind of inductions. it looks more like assaulting someone:D

Uhhh, I don't mean to be contentious but that looks nothing like Lop Sau. The 'inductee' was not attacking. Lop Sau starts as a defensive technique. Without an attack there can't be a lop sau.
The intention is different as well. However, he DOES pull the arm but the similarity stops right about there. |

Ye but lop sau is also a puilling arm technique

Sure, I've already agreed with that, but the similarity ends right there. There's a lot more to lop sau than just yanking someone's arm.
