I thought there was a thread about an eBay seller here last night and now I can't find it. Did I dream it? If the moderators pulled it is there a reason? When threads are pulled are we notified and given the reason? There are critiques on this board about internet magic shops - why not about an eBay seller?
Also, I am looking for a thread on clipboards that I know existed. It compared the Brown Hornet with Bob Cassidy's clipboard. While there are a few clipboard threads, the one I'm looking for is gone. Do some threads get pulled simply as a function of time in order to reduce the strain on the Café system? Gianni |

To answer your first question, the ebay thread was deleted. Ebay has its own customer service department where you can lodge complaints. Since this topic was a member complaining about a transaction on ebay with a person who has no affiliation with the Café on a site that has no affiliation with the Café, it was deleted.
To answer your other questions: Sometimes threads ARE deleted. We usually though not always notify everyone who posted in that topic when we delete a topic (check the rules in the various forums for times when we don't notify). A topic may be deleted for a number of reasons, such as violating Café rules or policies, technical problems, etc. Also, if the topic was posted in the Café's first year, it would now be in the archive.
