Is there a difference between the single shells and the shells from a set like HH? I don't mean if there are expanded, I am thinking more about quality.
Thanks |

Hi Okami,
I have a Johnson HH set and an expanded Johnson half bought separately, and there is no discernible difference. This doesn’t mean it’s impossible that there may be some small difference in shells now and again, but with Johnson coins it is highly unlikely.

http://www.schoolcraftprecisionmagic.com/ sells a shell which covers the complete height of the coin's edge.
This avoids, when spectators get a side view of the edge, arousing suspicion and enables you to get fully focused on showmanship.
