Hi there.
Does anyone know whether this is in Kevin James's lecture notes? I know it is in his lecture video, but I would like to know whether it is in his notes as well. Ivan

While we are on the subject— is there any way to blunt a dagger?

Kevin,
It's easy with a grinding wheel. If you use a custom made dagger, you can order it blunt. |

After you grind the edge down, you should cover the blade (especially the edges) with resin.
For a metal edge to be "safe", you must be able to drag it over your tongue without fear. |
