Great Work Dave!

On the "out of print" issue. As far as I know, Mr. Steinmeyer is coming out with another series so it shouldn't be long until the next batch are available. Look around though and you may find a second hand one as stated earlier.

I probbably saved more, its hard to find illusion builders in the UK so I would probably have had to have it shipped from USA, which would have cost a fortune. Also by building it myself I not only saved money but I could change things to suit me and the assistant.
Any way Thanks for the great comments,
I'm now working on an assistants revenge, which I will hopefully be starting in the next couple of days.

Looks fantastic Dave. Steinmeyer is really great about the liscencing for this too, all he asks for you to be able to do it ethically is to buy his book, which includes many GREAT ideas.

Please support the creator of this illusion by buying the book.

Great job! Did you taper the BA area back towards the back of the prop to make it look that thin? Most people don't which is a mistake.

If you own the plans, you will understand what I mean.

Yeah I did do the taper part as it does make the prop more deceptive as well

Really great job! It may seem a small element but everyone who builds this should see yours as an example of how deceptive this part can be. Congrats!

I have a modern art illusion for sale, a pic of it is on my website, at pittmanmagic.com... asking $1200 for it, in great condition and comes with padded crate. Can fit magician or assistant up to 6 feet, (my assistant placed me in it for our comedy routine) .... Can be picked up or shipped, or I will bring to you within reasonable driving distance of Williamsburg VA at cost of gas. Must sell! Let's make a deal!

Very nicely done. You decorated it like a pinball machine from the 70"s. Love it.
Wish I had the ablity to make something like that. Hmmmmm. I have a neighbor who is quite good with wood and tools.

I did it as a small project, when ever I had time I did some,so I'm not sure how long it took me, it was over about 6 months I would say, but that is with a basic house workshop, and not everyday working on it.
