Hello
Thanks everyone for their comments I tell like it is and don't sugar coat anything. Most people have a problem with that. I don't (so get over it) Doc made a great post most people now are wearing jeans and t-shirts back in the "production" days of Vegas costume went for allot more. As they were more "flashy". look at designer cloths. I have seen jeans for men well over $2,500. Even suits in the $500,000 range. You are paying for a "name". Same thing with a costume. You are paying for the name and for the time. Some charge more some charge less. Also depends on many other factors. Materials, concept, difficulty and so on. Not to mention most costume people only like big projects. Magic is very time consuming. They can nock out production costumes quick and easy. This project is for one costume. To justify their time, they charge more. If you had more they would be more pocket book friendly. The costume is a new concept and look. Thus, why I'm keeping a tight lid on it. I spent allot of money to design it. There are other elements to the costume. Everything will have to be custom down to the fabric. I think that I have found the person to make it. After a lengthy talk with them, I now understand that nobody could help on this quest. Due to the unique nature of the project. Thanks for the help though |
