So this is still related to magic but since I didn't have any clue about where else to post this I figured this was the best place. I ordered a couple of old Bob Read manuscripts from e bay a while ago and two out of the four were in Italian. I figured I could just get a Italian to English Dictionary and translate it myself but now it is just a jumble of nouns and verbs. I have also tried a few online translators and have ended up with the same results. Basically I can get most of it but I always end up with a few words that don't translate and even with that the grammar is still a bit messed up. If you speak Italian and could translate for me I would appreciate it. The tricks are tumbler transpo and $100 glass through table. Each one is about 2 pages double spaced.

Sacramento State offers a minor in Italian; UC Davis has a major in Italian. I'll bet that someone at either institution could translate the instructions for you. You can probably find e-mail addresses online.

My old boss at Roma Deli Pizza about 12 years ago was from Sicily...taught me many Italian kitchen words and how to swear like a champ!

Just to set the record streight. I am the grandson of a Sicilian dirt farmer, and a Sicilian fisherman, my family moved here about a hundred years ago to find a better life.

While not particularly fluent, I am fairly competent in Italian (being in AP Italian 5). I'm assuming there will be some technical terms in there, but I wouldn't mind taking a look and letting you know if I could tackle 'em. It would be good practice I suppose.
