After a lot of trial and error it's finally finished. Tell me what you think? Thanks

I forgot to mention that this is controlled by a wireless remote control that has been modified so there is no click when it is energized. It is 100% silent.

Good work! It reminds me of my electronic crystal ball, but mine was much easier to make because half the work was done by the plasma.
http://www.magicnook.com/WIZTWO/wj0211.htm Do you have a good routine worked out to explain why you are using a light bulb? Maybe it could be an "Edison Prediction" about the card that Thomas Edison needed to draw to win a game of cards.

It's fantastic! Any chance you'd share the mod silencing the remote control?
cheers, Lin |

This looks like Nitinol wire - a shape memory alloy. Am I correct? I know the flexinol wires used in robotics are made of this stuff, and it also reminds me of an effect I have called Wiregram, which also uses a SMA. Upon heating it forms into the shape of a chosen card - say 7♦. Your light bulb idea would be a great way to reveal a card if this is what you are using.

Sorry remote guy, I've just seen your crystal bulb post in the lastest and greatest section. I can see what I posted you've already stated elsewhere, but this was not obvious in the video.
