Love is good. Today is my 20th wedding anniversary and I have been in love with the same woman all this time ....(and if my wife ever finds out!) After work we head down to the ocean for a picnic dinner under the palm trees where we said our vows oh so long ago. A bottle of champagne, sunset, and holding hands. This is a good thing.
All you need is love .... love is all you need.

I LOVE my wife, she is my best friend, lover, and there is nothing that I would not do for her. She is simply the best. And we get along so well we have very good communication and we never go to bed mad we solve our problems and our problems are few. I have never met such an understanding woman who always wants the best for me as I do for her. I have heard so many horror stories about men and women but I guess I got the best one inn the world.

I want to talk about the past couple of weeks. My design idea for the front of the building was horrible, really awful. So we immediately had to recompletely do it and it is still not finished. We installed 3 large windows to go with the house and they are in now and the molding around the windows is finished and all the lanterns are now hung and everything is painted and the wiring is finished. We just have to install the flood lights (and may not get to them this year and shutters this coming week AND then we can get the building inspected for the wiring. It is looking good now with the windows. We don't have time to put windows in the other building this year because it is just too cold here already. He was putting in the last lantern when it was about 36 degrees and super windy. Can hardly wait until it is finished. He is down south now where it is still warm, so I am on my own again.
` ` ` We went bass fishing and it is great fishing now. The Bass were biting just about every time my husband threw out his top water spinner bait. It was SO COLD fishing though. To keep warm I layered 2 dresses, over each other & 1 sweater, 1 sweatjacket and my ski jacket, wore my gloves and was FREEZING. I have been having chills lately since we have been outside so much. I haven't been outside in years but this summer I was outside the whole summer wearing long dresses and big hats trying to avoid the sun! ` ` We will be going back out next week because the fishing was too good for my husband to resist. He caught 5 bass, all larger than 4 pounds and 1 Northern Pike and had 3 other bites and saw 2 large bass circling close to the boat, so it was Great fishing, as it is every year in the fall when it is freezing cold. He caught his largest bass in November one year, over 6-1/2 pounds. When we first got to the lake we were out in the middle looking for the fishing and the wind was blowing about 20-30 mph and it was in the upper 40's so the windchill was terrible so he moved near shore and it was sunny and we were in 2-4-1/2 feet of water and that is where the bass were at about 4 and 5 pm. The best fishing for big bass is in the fall up here. One fall we went up north to an island and it was so cold coming back that I lay on the floor of the boat to keep out of the wind! Anyway, it was fun watching him catch so many large fish. He was delighted. Probably next week we will finish the bldg and also go fishing. It was the best fishing all summer, so naturally, we'll probably be fishing until it snows. |

Kcg5,
Not so much up here as maybe you would think. One time my husband caught one that was about 39 inches long! I am glad you are doing well after your operation. Very tough to go through it especially when you have Leland telling you that it is dangerous! Good it's over! I'm glad you are through it! |

Kcg5,
I was thinking of the weeds that come out of the lake with the fish when I answered you. Yes, very slimey, but the weeds coming out with the fish seem to be fewer now. Sometimes in the middle of summer you just about can get to the fish to get the hook out of their mouths there are so many weeds on them. But yes, slime is not down! |

I guess you are not supposed to touch them on the body because it can remove the slime and that film of slime protects them from infection. We never keep the fish but catch and release.
