My Dark Card is dried out and unusable. What glue should I use to make a new Dark Card gimmick? Any thoughts?
Thanks, Andy |

Try Scotch Glue Stick Restickable Adhesive or 3M Spray Mount Artists Adhesive.

You can also use Pritt non-permenant glue which comes on a reel in a holder. If anything it is a bit too sticky so I dab it on a piece of cloth just to lessen the adhesion.

It's a Camirand Academy product.
One place (among many) it can be found is at The Magic Warehouse, which I rather favor. I imagine it can be found at most major online dealers.
There are many tricks, and many effects, but rarely a Grand Effect. There are many entertainers, but few real magicians. Many technicians, but few artists who use their art to explore their vision. - Derren Brown, Absolute Magic

I should have said in my previous post, to make a dark card at home I do use the 3M REPOSITIONABLE spray adhesive but as it is an effect I only use on odd occaissions I sometimes find myself making one at a venue and for this I use the Pritt non permenent reel because you can make one in an instant in a corner somewhere and there is no mess.
Dark card is a fantastic effect and just inserting the one card into the pack instead of doing the faro shuffle is, in my opinion, the way to go. |

I have a dark card, and this information will be very helpful!
I also prefer buying from The Magic Warehouse. They are great. -Jason
When asked, "Would anybody play cards with you today?" Ricky Jay simply responded, "Sure."
"Silly People." |
