Hi all,
anybody heard of this guy: http://www.peterpuzzle.com/ looks like interesting stuff. if anyone has any of his books and would like to comment on the difficulty/originality of the puzzles PLEASE do! thanks, N |

I looked up some of his stuff - really nice variations on some older puzzles. |

Yes. Peter is one of Serhiy Grabarchuk's sons.
The Grabarchuks are brilliant AND creative/original. If you haven't played with the father's 9 puzzle, a simpler(?) variant of the 15 puzzle, give it a try: http://www.puzzleworld.org/slidingblockpuzzles/digits.htm You can get the digits in order (left to right, top to bottom) in 27 moves. Stan |

this puzzle is really neat! makes me wanna build a wooden version of it. at first I though the solution would be somehow related to the fact that the 1 and 4 are basically the same shape (mirror imaged and turned) but it is a beauty no doubt although I haven't really solved it yet (33 moves) nir |

I saw a plastic version on eBay a year or two ago.
Serhiy must have authorized a small production run... perhaps for a puzzle-collectors gathering. |

Never heard of those guys, the name sound eastern european.
also the other sliding puzzles are nice I loved the 4 suits sliding puzzle. |
