I know not many UK people read this part of the magic Café - but it is always worth a go. It is definitely something to shout about
Ipswich Magical Society Convention Oct 26th 2008 Tickets are now available. Full details can be found on the website. Lectures by Mr. Biscuit (aka Martin Cox). As well as being the hard man of magic, Martin also is an incredible children’s performer. Canadian Mentalist, James Biss. Known for his book Messing with Minds, the Impressionable Mind Board and several other marketed effects. James will also be giving a workshop the day before to a limited number of people – so if you are interested – please book early. This is James’ first time in the UK, so it is a unique opportunity. Max Somerset – from TV’s Max Magic and The Sorcerers Apprentice. An incredible magician and inspiration to all performers. Close up The will be close up magic from (amongst others) Will Houstoun and John B. Born - possibly too of the best close-up guys around at the moment The Gala Show includes the above names, plus Scott Penrose, Michael Pearce (Comedy Juggler), Ashley and Wilma (Serious Komedy) and Michael J. Fitch. There will also be a close up session – but I can’t reveal all the names yet – but there will hopefully be a surprise special guest… The day is always an amazing day of magic – and a great place for magicians to meet. Hopefully we will see a lot of Bunnies this year. for full details see the website |
